How are crowds and weather first week of June?

Hot and humid. There are no AP block outs that week, except Pixie Dust Pass on weekends. Daily thunderstorm.

We either go every year 5/24-5/31 or 6/1-6/7.

It does get very muggy. I live in Middle Ga and my family is used to humidity, but this is worse.

Crowdwise, it's very managable. We don't need LL to get everything done.

Crowds are manageable. Probably a 6 or 7 crowd level depending on the park. The Summer heat and humidity is starting to set in by late May. We always went late May to early June. Heat wasn't overwhelming, but it's something you have to take into account when you plan your day.

We were there 2 Junes ago at that time and it was over 100 degrees, feels like 110!! It was just DH and I and we weren't trying to get to every ride. We spent hours back in the hotel room in the middle of the day. We only went to the pool one of those because it was so hot if we weren't going to be under the water. Also, we did have to dodge huge storms. We were at a skyliner resort and had to use the bus at times since it doesn't run during storms.

Was there mid May 2025. The middle of the day was pretty miserable for heat and humidity. I'm used to weather in the PNW so the contrast is high from what I'm used to, but I wouldn't go back unless I planned only early morning and evening visits to the parks.

June is hot, not quite as hot and humid as mid July through August. But it does tend to rain more. As far as crowds, the parks are trending to be not as busy during the summer months, and busier during the cooler times of the year. There will be lines, but not spring break levels! I was there that time last year and it was not bad. Not walk ons, but not 90 minutes for everything, either.

Planning a trip May 31 to June 5.
On the weather front… this is the early part of rainy season in Orlando. Get those ponchos and umbrellas! You may get wet.

Prepare and build in indoor attractions around the afternoon where downpours are likelier.

We were there at that exact time in 2023 and the crowds were manageable - no complaints.
The weather was hot, but not unbearable, but that is also coming from someone that is always cold and loves the heat. It is a bit on the rainy side, so make sure you pack and extra pair of gym shoes and ponchos.

We will be going the second week of June this year, and I have a feeling the crowds will be heavier than the first week of June, but it is what it is. We'll have fun no matter what. I hope you have a great trip! :smickey:

We went the first week of June in 2025. It was our first June trip to Florida ever but that’s when the in-laws would go. Honestly it wasn’t that bad. It was humid and warm but we were prepared. Definitely bring rain gear but honestly it just rained for a bit and then stopped. It isn’t cooling though, just kind of adds to the humidity.

Crowd wise it was a different crowd than we were used to for our September and January trips. Lots of families. The waits weren’t bad. It was manageable. My bil & sil stayed the following week and said the crowds increased steadily.
