Renting DVC Points?

I'm sorry if this is not the right place to ask this. If I rent DVC points do I get extra magic hours?Do I get bus service to and from the airport? Do I need to rent a car? Thanks in advance for the info.

At the moment, you do get EMH and Magical Express Bus Service to/from the airport. That can always change, but there's no expectation it will. The rent/don't rent decision is up to you; the pros and cons are the same when renting points as when staying in any onsite resort.

You get the same perks as people making a reservation through CRO when you rent points from a member. But you don't get the member perks. These are not transferrable - unless the member is staying with you at the resort.

You will get a packet at check in with all that is allowed. Some of the perks have that Membership card may be asked for and some do not.

We just got back from OKW renting points. We traveled with our 3 kids, ages 4, 2 and 2. We were able to use the Magical Express to WDW from the airport, and get all the extra magic hours and all that good stuff as if we had booked directly with Disney. We did rent a car though, just in the interest of traveling with the little ones. The bus service can be pretty slow, and it made it easier to get out of the parks quickly and back to our room. The only place I would not recommend driving to is the Magic Kingdom, as the parking is horrible, and you still have to be ferried into the park.

And you get the chance to get hooked on DVC like I did and now own.
