Renting Car?

I'm heading down for this Sunday's cruise on the Wonder. I am considering renting a car in Orlando when I arrive Saturday evening and returning it when I head back to the airport on Thursday noontime. I like having a car so I can get at my own pace.

Is this a good plan? I plan on parking at the Port. I have no definite plans at this point and I am debating this. What would you (or have you) done?

We have rented cars twice from Orlando with the one way option. It was quick and easy to pick up and drop off the luggage at the terminal and then return the car and take the shuttle back to the terminal. The parking is $10 per day I believe, plus the cost of the rental car. Unless it is a great deal, it might be cheaper to do 2 one way rentals. Check Dave's site for the car companies and the one way rental codes to use when making reservations.
