Rental car @ Port Orleans Riverside

Hi- Can anyone tell me if you can rent a car directly at POR or have one delivered there? Thank you

You can reserve a car thru the Car Care Center. They will send a shuttle to POR to pick you up and take you to the Car Care Center to g et the car.

Do you find that the rates are more expensive then when you rent at the airport?

The CCC is near Magic Kingdom. We asked at the checkin desk at the hotel and they gave us the number to call.

We did not check the rates for renting at the airport. We used ME from the airport because it was more convenient for us. We only rented a car for the one day that we went offsite. This was just the most economical and convenient way for us.

Thanks. We are planning another trip next year with 3 nights on site and then will drive over to Longboat Key for a week at the beach. I should look into it to see if it is worth just getting the car the day we leave since we are on-site and won't need the car. It may not pay to have the car just sit there.

If you are renting for just the end of the trip, then you can also take a bus/boat over to the Swan from one of the parks and you can rent a car there. Again, I believe it is just National/Alamo that rents from the Swan, but it's on-site and in some cases less hassle than the shuttle to CCC.
