Rental Car - One Day Only????

We are staying on-site and would like to rent a car for one day in the middle of our trip to go to Gatorland and to visit family. What would be the cheapest way to go about arranging for a rental car, June trip? Could you provide logistics, in other words do they deliver to the hotel and at drop off do they drive you back to the hotel? Who services the hotels? What about using Price Line? Any help and tips would be appreciated?

There are a couple of options for this, there is the care car center on Disney Property and they do have transportation from / to the resorts. I believe you will find National or Avis there.

If you go to the Avis or national site and book a reservation in Orlando this will be one of the options for location.

There is also a rental desk at the Dolphin - not sure of the transportation options to / from that one

I think beside the NAtional/Alamo at the Car Care Center and the Dolphin, there's also an Avis, I think at the Hilton right near DTD and Enterprise may do drop off and pick up. I would search the individual car rental sites and look for locations that are close to your resort and see what comes up.
