Renewing Seasonal AP + Upgrading + FlexPay?

I will be visiting next month using my non-Florida Seasonal AP. As it happens, I will be in the parks when my 30-day renewal window opens. I was wondering whether it's possible to do all of the following:

(1) Renew and upgrade to a Power AP;
(2) Retain whatever discount applies for renewing; AND
(3) Sign up for FlexPay to pay for the Power AP.

My concern is that they might say that since I'm renewing a non-FlexPay-eligible AP, I can't have FlexPay now even though I'm upgrading the AP in the same transaction.

There is no discount unless you pay in full. You can upgrade and get the discount, but you must pay in full.
