Renewal of Annual Pass with DVC

Hi
We bought our first annual pass last December by calling DVC and they were sent to us in Canada for our Dec./Jan trip. My question is will we get any type of renewal information in the mail or do we just call member services and renew it on our own. We will be there the end of December and we aren't sure the proper way to handle this. Thanks for the help.

Occasionally we've received notices that it is time to renew but most years we don't.

You can call MS to renew or so so online but it is really just as easy to do so when you arrive at your first park. Just head to GS. It sounds like your passes will still be active so you can renew at GS inside or outside the gates.

If you renew ahead of time, you'll receive vouchers and will still need to go to GS to get the new passes.

You can also renew at GS at DTD if you'll be there for shopping or dining. I wouldn't make a special trip just to deal with APs though.

One other part-because we get the DVC discount do we have to do it through DVC member services. I thought if we waited until we arrive at the park they would not adjust for that discount. Not sure where I got that idea??

GS at the parks and DTD can apply the DVC discount. Just be sure to have your blue membership card and photo ids for any adult renewals. Home address has to be the same to get the discount.
