renew AP pass?

what is the cost to renew an AP pass,adult? ours runs out early Nov and we're contemplating whether to renew one just to get the room rates, what do you guys think?

A regular AP[no water parks or DQ] can be renwewd for 378.00. A new one is 420.00 so you save only 42.00 by renewing. If you plan on going very soon after renewal it would pay to renew. If you are not going right away it would be better to buy a new one. Remember on a renewal the clock starts ticking the day after your current AP expires. With a new AP the clock doesn't start until you activate your voucher.

In regards to the AP, if you go with the AP and book with your number does that activate the AP- or is it activated when you check in? I'm wondering, I know very little about this so wondering if it's worth me getting one to offset the costs of the hotel rate?
