Who: My new hubbie Brian (27), along for the ride
Me, Renessa (24), planner extraordinaire
Sunday, July 7th
We were up early, wanting to be at the Studios for opening. We packed the car, said goodbye to our room, and drove around to grab breakfast. We had decided to leave our car near OPR, so we could ride the CBR bus back and head out from there. It was a good decision! We ate, and killed time shopping and playing in the arcade (can you guess who shopped and who played ??)! Then we boarded the bus to MGM. It is a short ride, and we had made connections here all week. We were at the rope drop, and got a FP for Tower while riding Rockin first. It was great! I am an Aerosmith fan, which just made it better! Best ride at WDW! After that, we rode Tower without needing the FP, and handed it off to a couple as we were leaving the area. We hit the Movie Ride, Millionaire, and Muppets. Then it was time for our PS at Prime Time! I loved this restaurant. Our Aunt was wonderful, played the part well, and we really felt like part of the family. She wrote down our names, and used them throughout the experience. We had the pot pie and the steak sandwich. They were both wonderful. For dessert we had Dads Super Sundae (cheap at under $5.00!!) and it was huge. It had cracker jacks (with prize), M&Ms, whipped cream, toppings, vanilla ice cream and more that I cant remember. We werent able to finish it all. We took turns around the room offering to take pictures with our Aunt in them! Then as we were leaving, we were presented with our Magical Moments certificate for our honeymoon! It was fantastic. We even had it wrapped well at a nearby vendor. We hit star tours, INDY, Sounds Dangerously (skip it!), and came out to find pouring rain. Not just rain, but pounding of the pavement rain! We stayed around waiting for it to calm down, and then headed off to One Mans Dream. It was much more extensive than I expected, but a nice movie and presentation. It was just about time for the parade, so we grabbed a bench and used our ponchos to sit on. I offered a dry seat to a nice woman, and we chatted until the parade began. After the parade we saw Beauty and the Beast (my favorite, and a surprise! Brian liked the show!) We grabbed dinner at the nearby market, a double cheese and chicken finger meal. Typical food offerings, but good. We decided that we had seen all that we had wanted, and headed to grab good seats for Fantasmic! We took turns holding seats and shopping, grabbing snacks, etc. We met a nice family from Jersey and I gave their daughter one of my glow stick things! She was cute with Minnie ears! The show was wonderful, and we headed back to retrieve our car at CBR when it was all done. One last mug refill, and we were off to our priceline hotel, Travelodge. (See planning for info on this hotel).
