She used to have epicanthic folds, right? And it looks like she had them removed. I don't think that's a very complicated surgery, honestly. I know some folks who've had theirs removed as they aged because their folds got sort of droopy and it just irritated them.
(Note: I know, a lot of people think these fold only occur in Asians, but they show up in other populations sometimes. Renee's mom is Norwegian I think, and if I'm not mistaken, the descendants of Vikings do sometimes have this. There's a ethnic group where I'm from that my mom is related to, distantly, and the folds show up a lot in this group; so, as part of geneaological research, I've read some ethnographic articles about the subject and the distribution of epicanthic folds.)
