Reminder Please! - 6 to a room??

Hi all,

Which resorts will allow this configuration in one room: 4 adults, 1 child older than 3, 1 child less than 3?

Any?

I think you would be ok at Port Orleans Riverside in the Alligator Bayou. Those rooms have the small trundle in addition to the two queen beds.

AOA Suites would be one. Also POR Alligator Bayou assuming that the one under 3 would be in a pack n play--it gets tight though esp w/ 4 adults. We did it one trip w/ 2 adults and four kids w/ on3 being an infant.

The Deluxe villas would work too. Also some of the deluxe resorts would have two queens and a day-bed plus room for a pack n play.

If I remember correctly, a child under 3 doesn't count towards room capacity.

AKL and WL only hold four plus one under three in their standard rooms.

If you do a search for rooms for 5, you will find tons of threads. This question gets asked just about every day.

I always thought a child under 3 doesn't count against occupancy limits, but on the WDW site I'm getting lots of "party size is over occupancy limit" (or similar wording) at all levels of resorts when I search for 2 adults, 3 kids (aged 7, 4 and 2). Don't know if it's a policy switch or a website issue. I'm thinking I'll have to call in the morning.

Did you call? I'm curious to know if the policy changed.

Have you tried doing 2 adults, 2 kids, and an infant (even though we all know that a 2 year old isn't an infant! )? I've heard that it's a glitch in the website that will take the reservation if the child is listed as an infant.

Yes; I did a search but I guess I wasn't asking the "right" way - I'm looking for six people in a room anyway. I've seen these threads myself and just CAN'T REMEMBER. My colleague at work is going, and they're hoping to keep their costs down.
