After two nights in a beach cottage, my MiL is VERY interested about buying into DVC.

But if she bought into Vero right now, and took advantage of MB, she would be selling back <i>2002</i> points, right? There's no way to get a November or December use-year now, right? (Not sure if they sell both of those - just asking..)

I guess it's a safe assumption that the resale market has a tough time beating the MB incentive, doesn't it?

Thanks for the info - I reminded her about the price increase on 12/01...

Me thinks I hear more Disney $$ coming my way....

Yes, she would be selling back 2002 points- but for a use year sometime in the spring or summer most likely.

There are certainly reale opportunities that could beat the MB deal AND have the 2002 points intact. They may not be evident today and might take some negotiation, but they can certainly be found with some effort.

Just thought I'd confirm that there IS a December use year, but NOT a November use year. For some reason, Disney doesn't sell use years of January, May, July or November.

at the Beach Cottage.
It would cost your MIL $65 pt at VB with the MB's.
