Updated 5/5/2009.........A dedicated Disney buff, Steve, sent me an email, in which he said among other things.......

.....In looking for this show the past six years, I tried to save all my notes on various bulletin boards, notices, links, and posted messages, and when it popped up online two months ago, I went to all of them and sent either e-mails or private messages to the parties who were also searching for it......

Isn't that the one where the kid looses his golden retriever and when posting pictures finds him? I bawl at that one absolutely every time. Reminds me when we lost our golden retriever years ago. We too posted pictures and 4 days later a old woman dropped him off at our front porch stating she found him limping along a highway. That was many years ago and he has passed on since. But I still cannot watch that preshow without sobbing in public.

I thought that was one of the finest pre-shows Disney has ever done.

That was a classy little pre-show. I remember hearing the Cyndi Lauper version subsequent to the Disney version and suddenly realized how good that song is. Although I'm not a Lauper fan, she did a great job on that one.

This preshow changed my life back in 1995. I had seen it twice and it gave me the courage to quite a toxic job I had at the time and start my own Decorative Painting business in 1996.

I'm still doing that to this day and recently returned from our umpteenth trip to WDW.... I so miss that show.... THANK YOU so much for posting this music! I'd give my eye teeth for the video but have not been able to find it anywhere!

Anyway - the show still inpires me to this day! I'm still doing my decorative painting - and am starting to do digital paintings from photos and want to specialize in Disney photos taken by vacationers (and turn them into paintings!)

Just back from WDW. DH and I were very depressed to find out that this had been changed. In our opinion, it was the best part of HISTA.

You can view the WDW True Colors preshow by going to YouTube and searching the terms wdw true colors and it will be at the top of the list on the left-hand side, 6:53 in length. Or simply Google the same terms, and click on the first hit you get. Then follow the instructions and you'll find a place to download a copy of the show. Also, you can click on the SECOND Google hit, and then scroll down to my wdwmagic message posted 3-20-09 on that board under my user name skyhar8000. This is my first posting on THIS board, and the system won't allow me to write out complete website locations or e-mail addresses until I have ten posts to my credit. Anyway, I hope this is enough information to get you pointed in the right direction.
