I don't really know, I love them ALL!
But if i'd had to chose between all three, It would have to be World of Color. :woohoo:

Having just got back from Disneyland, and having seen WOC, RDCT, and Fantasmic all on this trip, I must say that I am shocked to see WOC in last place in this poll. It is, BY FAR, the best nighttime show I have ever seen and easily one of the most amazing things Disney has ever done. DW and I saw the show twice from the Red and Yellow wet zones and found the show to be the highlight of our trip. The only real problem with the show is that it has now made Fantasmic a bit of a joke to us. Hard not be underwhelmed by the outdated pop music, tiny water screens, and missing dragon. And RDCT, formerly my favorite nighttime show, while still great, just doesn't measure up to the "WOW factor" you get up close with WOC.

Maybe everyone is watching it from the wrong place? Get some ponchos and head for the wet zone, people. It's AMAZING!

Thanks for coming back to vote. I was at DLR this weekend and saw RDCT once and WOC twice (my 3rd and 4th time overall). And frankly I have to agree with you. When I created this poll I had a hard time choosing between WOC and RDCT. Not anymore. WOC amazed me again. And again. It is an incredible show. :wizard:

Based on your signature, was it your first time going during the Halloween festivities? How did you like all of the decorations and SM:GG? I'm going on Saturday! :goodvibes

I definately like F! the best. We saw world of color for the first time and got pretty wet in the preferred dining section; it was very pretty but I'm getting a little tired of them using the same clips and music in so many shows. There were cool parts but... then I went and saw F! on the rivers of america. I hadn't seen it in 5 years and it made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside (and this was over labor day weekend when Murphy was busted and there was NO dragon!) The RDCT was just meh... I like the one in WDW much better so I am likely jaded.

I have been thinking about why I chose WOC over RDCT in the OP. I think it is that RDCT is more narrow. It is focused on the Disneyland park. It looks inward.

Which is exactly what bumps RDCT into 1st place for me. :thumbsup2

WOC is more broad and looks out at the world of Disney characters. For me that is what gave it the edge. :)

WOC was the obvious 3rd place choice for me, but I only saw it during the opening frenzy, so I know I need to give it another shot.

Fantasmic and WOC might have been closer for me if not for the sail by's. Even the barges are great; but more often than not, the Columbia and Mark Twain going by give me goose bumps. How can you beat that?

Nice poll idea!

I almost voted. If I had, F! would have gotten my vote. F! just tugs my heart strings. But, (and this is a big "but"), I haven't seen RDCT in several years and I don't know that my WOC viewing spot (blue wet section behind a post) or weather conditions (a little windy) were the best. I'll be going back for a conference in November and RDCT should hopefully be the fireworks being shown over the weekend. I'm also planning on pre-ordering another picnic dinner and I'll try to view WOC a little further back this time. Since it will be just myself and I won't need to worry about optimal space for my daughters, I think I should be able to finagle a decent viewing spot.

After all of that, then I'll vote.

Yes first time for HalloweenTime and SMGG. It was all very cool and the weather was perfect. I was in SoCal for some family business and got over to DL on Sat night to catch RDCT and a few rides. Then all day Sunday. I got a red FP for the first WOC and was down in the very front spot - and also got a picnic and a blue FP for the second showing - and purposely got a spot in the back next to VIP. Seeing WOC twice in one night - once from the very front and then in the back was quite revealing. I hung around on Monday til about 3PM. Back to Colorado on Tuesday.

I am going to work up a DISUnplugged blog piece today and hopefully they can publish it tonight or tomorrow. :)

Have fun this weekend. Are you doing any of the D23 stuff? Which AP did you get? Don't you have homework? ;)

We were in DLR over the weekend too, and saw RDCT on Saturday and did Ariel's dining for the second showing of WOC on Sunday. Even though the prefered dining section was seriously empty, and our view was amazing, RDCT is still my favorite. I think it is the nostalgic feeling of "my park" that really does it for me.

Homework?? psh, nah!

I'm glad you liked Halloweentime. I can't wait to ride SM:GG for the first time and to check out the new stuff in HMH. I am not doing any D23 stuff. Honestly, I cannot justify a membership to D23. Just not worth it for me. As for my AP, I have...ahem..a Premier Passport because my family and I went to WDW over the summer for 10 days and it was completely worth it since I'm living down here now. :yay::yay:

My DD, DSIL and 4 grandkids saw all 3 shows within the last week. F! is the only one I had viewed previously and was really expecting to choose one of the other shows. None of the others in the group had seen, or even heard, of the any of the Disney entertainment. The agenda was all left up to me - which is the way I like it! I asked each one which entertainment was their favorite and every single one said F! and I had to agree. Perhaps it is because we could sit and actually see everything. I must say we really in awe of all three options.

F! :wizard: gets my vote at the moment ~ I'm trying to remember the last time I saw RDCT.... WOC was great - I'll see if I've changed my mind after our Thanksgiving visit.

I chose WoC. I tried not to let my viewing spot play into it, knowing that makes a big difference. Though my F! and RDCT seats were all great I felt my WoC spot was supreme. I enjoyed the simple story of WoC. For all the complaints of getting tickets to WoC, when it comes down to it, it is easier to find your spot for WoC than the other shows. There is a exact process and rules to it. The show itself was impressive. Best I've seen in both US parks. It needs to make it's way east ASAP.

I talked to CMs at each show and interestingly....The CMs prefered the show they worked. That was universal but all mentioned WoC as their second favorite except the WoC CM's who both liked RDCT over F! as thier alternate.

I also asked about WoC itself and Murphy. Nobody expected to see Murphy in the future. Not even for next summer. :sad2: It was suggested that WoC won't have fixed platforms until this time next year. They want the newness to last before they stop showing it to fix it. One CM expected lots of seasonal scenes to show up in the future. She also noted that a lot was changed prior to the show because of leaked viewings and they wanted to maintain a surprise to the plot. Wasn't sure about that since more videos came up after the first couple showings anyway. Who hasn't seen a video before going or a lot of photos anyway?

Look forward to seeing WoC again!

Bumping to keep more votes coming. :)

Interesting to see WOC catching up after trailing so badly. popcorn::

Would you explain the story/plot to me? Because I didn't see one. I just thought it was a bunch of Disney movie vignettes slammed together.

My fave is RDCT, F! second and WOC last. I've seen WOC three times and just don't get it.

You don't get it??? :confused3

The story is that someone...

o Forgot to turn off the faucets

o Forgot to turn off the lights

o Forgot to turn off the burner on the gas stove

o Forgot to turn off the big screen TV (it was on the Disney Channel)

Obvious to me... :rolleyes1

OK, this is really, really hard for me. I thought, going into my trip, that Fantasmic would stay #1 for me, and it would be a toss up between WOC and RDCT for 2nd and 3rd. So, so, so not the case at all. I am still in awe over WOC which just really needs to be experienced in person even though I did watch the live stream when it premiered. The vide didn't do it justice. But the lack of an actual story behind WOC is what kills it for. That and I still feel like using that scene from the Lion King was to make us cry (worked like a charm on me) and I'm a little vindictive about it.

Right now:

1. Fantasmic!
2. WOC
3. RDCT

I would be willing to re-negotiate this and maybe even put WOC in at #1 in the future when they can get a good plot/story behind it. But it definitely is amazing to watch. I have no words. And now that I know I can do all 3 in one night, I'm a happy camper!
