Regular dining plan and signature restaurants

I asked this on the FAQ, but did not get a response.

I'm getting the regular dining plan and I'm considering a Signature restaurant for one meal -
I'm assuming that appetizers are also not included at these restaurants, but what about restaurants like Citricos and Flying Fish that have different courses?

I can't speak to the "nicer" signatures (versus shows) but I would bet that the answer is still no. We did HDDR which does include salad but that's not exactly in the same cat! Although, for us, it was absolutely worth the 2 TS!

appetizers are not included on the 2 TS signature meals when you are on the regular Dining Plan. That is one of the reasons we won't do 2 TS meals again - while the signature restaurants are good, we didn't think they were actually worth twice as much!

You do get the appetizer at CRT, but that is because it is a fixed-price meal.

What you are referring to is the price fixe menus that certain signatures offer. No, I do not believe you can choose from the price fixe menu when on the regular dining plan. You will have to choose an entree and dessert from the regular menu.

Only Le Cellier permits ordering the three course fixed price menu on the basic dining plan.

At any a la carte signature restaurant, the basic plan entitles you to one entree, one dessert and one non-alcoholic beverage only. Besides CRT, which is a fixed price meal, the only exception is Brown Derby on the Fantasmic dining package - the package reservation includes an appetizer. A regular meal reservation at Brown Derby (without the Fantasmic package) does not get an appetizer.
