I received my package today from disneygrandy(Kathleen). She sent 2 cookbooks full of great recipes from New Orleans: "New Orleans Food" by Tom Fitzmorris and"Cooking Up A Storm". Kathleen also included two pretty bookmarks with butterflies on them so I can mark my favorite recipe page!!! My most favorite of all the recipes are the Beignets!!!! Even though it's a moment on the lips and a life time on the hips they are one thing I can't resist!!
I also can't wait to try some of those other delicious looking recipes!! My DH loves crawfish etouffee! When he saw the recipe it made his day!!
Thank you soooo much Kathleen!!! I love them both!!
Now to get cooking...........

I always get more books during this exchange. "One for you;
one for me.

This is funny---We had beignets (our version--fried bread dough
with cane syrup)this morning. I'll eat fruit later and call it a healthy breakfast
And later today we're having crawfish bisque.
