I arrived home late last night to 5 exchange packages and opened them all before falling into bed.
To Prairieracer, actually I was told that it was a cookbook holder. I had to ask--had no idea.
My first package is from CrazyBoutDisney (who was one of my sendees) and she sent lots of little things.
Pampered Chef Cookbook that she never used
trivet that she got from another exchange!!
silver tray from a store opening
glasses case that won't fit in her purse--also probably not in mine
advertising giveaway key chain
coasters from a gift backet that her DH won at work
and, then some Mickey candies (which will NOT be regifted!!!!)
It was so much fun to open the package and see all the different items. Now, to decide what to do with them all. I too vote for a regift exchange after Christmas.
Now, on to my second package from evilqueenfan. She sent me her Christmas gift from her father. It a one of a kind tabletop fountain. (Actually, she's hoping that it's one of a kind) Her father may decide to replace it when he discovers that it's missing!!!! She said that her sister got rid of her similiar gift--in the trash. I think Elisabeth had advance notice of this exchange! I belong to an organization that has a garage sale each spring for local scholarships---Guess where the fountain will be going??? She also sent me socks that her DH's sister gave him---they have zippers on the ribbing part. Cute idea??!!!??? Plus, I received a notepad with my name on it (not a regift, she said). Maybe, to make up for sending me the fountain??? It will go to a good cause.
Thanks Beth and Elisabeth. I really enjoy opening packages and getting "things" and these exchanges are so much fun.
Got to get off the computer and get more unpakcing and putting away done....got to go to work tomorrow and my brother arrives for four days on Thursday. Oh, yeah!!! My brother's daughter is in WDW at the Great Movie Ride (college program) until January 5th, so if you see her at the ride say "hi". Her name is Melissa and she's from Arizona State (I think there's another Melissa on the ride).
Thanks everyone!!!! Cindy
