Refresher on WDW AP renewal lanyard & pin

Can someone please remind me how I was supposed to redeem my AP renewal lanyard and pin? We renewed our passes last week at Epcot, and completely forgot about it. Please help!

Take your AP and an ID and go to Island Mercantile in AK. I think they do it at the register that is towards the front of the shop, not the one in the middle.
