You can't actually reserve a table outside - you can request one, but it's really pot luck if there's one available or not :)

Hi

Try to book a table on say hour ot 1 hour 1/2 away and that should allow them enough time to get you a table outside, also it means you can eat your dinner slowly and take in the atmosphere.

Book a table for about 7.30pm..then when you sign in ask if you can wait for a table outside to see the fireworks. But don't worry too much because the Rose and Crown also has a roped off area outsside to view...ask your server to show you there before the fireworks start. :thumbsup2

We requested one and got seated inside before :( I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

Thanks for all your answers.

Plenty of sunshine heading our way :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:

Since Illuminations usually starts at 9:00, 7:30 or 8:00 is a perfect time to reserve for. They do try very hard to be accomodating, I've had luck telling them at the podium that I will take a pager and wait for a patio table. You can take the pager into the pub or the shops to pass time while you wait.

I saw Illuminations on Saturday night for the zillionth time, it still leaves me in awe! I love the beginning when they blow out the torches!
Good Luck! :sunny:
