Refillable Mugs?

We're staying at the Poly and I requested Tokelau or Tahiti. I'm really concerned that we'll be too far away from the GCH to want to get the mugs refilled. I wish they had refill stations at the individual longhouses. That would be nice.

It's a walk. Not a big deal generally (5-10 minutes tops - and a pretty walk, too), but enough of a pain that you don't want to bother going all the way there and back for another 8-10 ounces of Diet Coke...especially in the rain. At least I don't.

They do have pop machines in the hotel. $2.50 - Coke products. But they have pretty fireworks on the machines, if that takes the sting out of the $2.50.

I understand that the mugs are refillable at all resorts... so if we are staying at GF and then have a character breakfast at POLY or CR can we take our mug and have it re-filled there?

Is my understanding correct?

You are correct about that. However just to let you know the Food & Fun Center at the Contemporary where you would get refills has just closed and chances are the temporary counter service location is not selling the mugs. I will be arriving there tomorrow to confirm all that, so incase you thought of using the new YOAMD mug at the Contemporary you might not be able to.

This may be the first trip where I DO buy the mug. I usually don't, but I'll be at VWL for 2 1/2 weeks, and I like to eat at Roaring Forks. I could carry a drink from my room, or I could take the food back to the room. Last time, on a shorter trip, I kept meaning to bring a drink from the room with me, and I would forget. So I haven't decided yet. But for a trip this long, if I used it once a day, I'd get my money's worth.
