I saw this on another site and was a bit confused.

Refillable mugs are available at the Trail's End Restaurant for $11.99, which includes free refills for coffee and tea (not soft drinks). The mugs may also be refilled at the Meadow Trading Post (self serve) and at the Meadow pool snack bar (self serve).

Does this mean that you can not refill the mugs with soft drinks anywhere or is that only the case at Trails End Restaurant?

Thanks:goodvibes

On Allears.net it says...Trail's End(Soft Drinks) or Meadow's Pool. I would assume this means we can get soft drink refills there:thumbsup2

Thank goodness as I need my soft drink Fix, even if Disney does not serve Pepsi:sad2:

Stopping at TE while looping on the golf cart, and filling up with coke was a ritual that we practiced daily LOL

I really think you could fill up a 5 gallon cooler from that machine, and no one would even see you!! :lmao:

Here are photos of the two beverage stations at the Fort (taken two weeks ago):

This is the station at Trails End Restaurant. I think you can see the soda selections, which are more limited than at other resorts. You can also get coffee, tea, and hot cocoa. They do not open until 7:30, and they close around 11. You cannot refill your mugs when they are closed:

This is the station at the Meadows Trading Post (no station in the Settlement Trading Post). No soda here, just coffee, tea and hot cocoa. The Meadows Trading Post does not open until 8, and closes at 10. No drinks available when it is closed:

At both stations, the hot cocoa packets are kept behind the counter, which means you must ask a cast member for the hot cocoa. This can be a minor pain during busy times. There is no hot cocoa machine like at other WDW resorts.

You can also have your mugs refilled at the Meadows Pool, but only when the snack bar is open, and only by the cast member on duty (no self service). The snack bar is usually open only during busy times (like spring break and summer).

Now that the mugs have a universal design, you can bring them over to the Wilderness Lodge, and other resorts, where the beverage selection is a little more diverse.

Thanks for the pics.. I needed the visual proof!! LOL I have just decided to get one of those mugs!! :)

....so...um...how 'bout a picture of the mugs? I'd like to see what the design is this year! :goodvibes

Same as 2007, but no date.

If you look carefully at the bottom right of the second photo above, you will see one of the mugs.

Good to know, as I need my caffeine fix:rotfl:

My kids have always refilled with soft drinks.

Awesome!!!

Thanks for everyone responses.

You all are so helpful on the camping board.....:goodvibes

Great pics!

The mugs aren't as useful at FW as at other places. We don't have a cart so it's a pain to fill up on coffee in the morning. And I don't usually like to carry our mugs to the parks so stopping at TE on the way to/from somewhere isn't that easy.

Mugs can also be refilled with Kungaloosh when FWGuy is in town.
