Both of these really ought to be a sticky here considering as much as they are brought up.

Here are photos of the two beverage stations at the Fort (taken two weeks ago):

This is the station at Trails End Restaurant. I think you can see the soda selections, which are more limited than at other resorts. You can also get coffee, tea, and hot cocoa. They do not open until 7:30, and they close around 11. You cannot refill your mugs when they are closed:

This is the station at the Meadows Trading Post (no station in the Settlement Trading Post). No soda here, just coffee, tea and hot cocoa. The Meadows Trading Post does not open until 8, and closes at 10. No drinks available when it is closed:

At both stations, the hot cocoa packets are kept behind the counter, which means you must ask a cast member for the hot cocoa. This can be a minor pain during busy times. There is no hot cocoa machine like at other WDW resorts.

You can also have your mugs refilled at the Meadows Pool, but only when the snack bar is open, and only by the cast member on duty (no self service). The snack bar is usually open only during busy times (like spring break and summer).

Now that the mugs have a universal design, you can bring them over to the Wilderness Lodge, and other resorts, where the beverage selection is a little more diverse.

Can you get coffee refills anywhere that's open early and stays open late???

While the Adventurer's Club developed the recipe, old FWGuy perfected it with one vacation of many trials. The cup of daiquiri mix makes it far too sweet and heavy, and I suspect Disney released that recipe knowing full well it was an incorrect amount, since I have had the Kungaloosh at the A Club and it is not that heavy. Cut the cup back to 1/4 cup and it makes a very refreshing drink. Also makes it easier to remember the recipe, which is critical after having a few. Refills at the Kiwi as long as the Cpt. Morgan's holds out.

Sorry, but not at the Fort. There are only two places to get coffee. Trails End does not open until 7:30 (and you should be there sometime to see the regulars who show up at the appointed time ;) ), and the Meadows Trading Post opens at 8. The Meadows Trading Post closes at 10, and Trails End at 11.

All of the cabins come with coffee makers. If you are at a campsite, bring a coffee maker and coffee. Nothing tastes better than your own fresh brewed coffee at your site.

And none of the cabins come with a Magic Bullet, so you have to bring your own from home.

I hear you can request it at Whispering Canyon Cafe:rolleyes1

We will be there again in Oct. and I can't wait!!

Never mind - I used my limitless computer skills and checked the calendar. Stop by the Kiwi for a Kungaloosh.
