Refillable mugs and water....

HI everyone, so I recently had gastric bypass and was told no more soda (even diet) and I'm OK with that. We will be going to all star movies in October and I'll be getting refillable mugs for hubby and dd for their drinks. I have several of the older mugs from previous trips, can I just take one of those for me and get water from the drink station? I hate to buy a mug for me just for water but I will if I need to. I prefer to have a mug and not the paper/disposable plastic cup because the mugs are sturdy and easy to carry. Does anyone know if I can get water in a mug that we got on our trip in march? (So excited for this trip, first trip after surgery and I've lost 55 pounds as of today!!)

You can get water from drink station using any sort of mug/water bottle. Just push the little water tab on one of the soda dispenser. Which soda it’s on varies. You don’t need to use the refillable mug. Also you can get ice too sans RFID mug

Can also go refill your water in the parks in the QS restaurants that have self service drink stations- Electric Umbrella in Epcot, the Pandora QS in AK, BOG in MK (can’t just walk in to that one) Backlot Express in HS.

The mugs also cover coffee and tea, in case those are in your diet. It’s not just soda.

For water, you can use any mug you like. The refillable ones are rather small, I'd bring a larger water bottle.

We are bringing Starbucks cold refillable cups with straws for each one of us. We will have the Dining plan, so the mug is included, however I do not like to put water in my mug after it has has coffee.

I figure the cups will also be a good idea due to the no straw and cover problem.
