Refillable Mug ?

I am considering getting one for the first time.

If I get a hankering for a drink late at night, after midnight, do I have to wait untill mourning or are the drink dispensers still working?

I will be a ASMo.

I'm interested in this too. We went from planning on getting the DxDP to just the DDP which it's not included. Saved us $300 and many pounds of weight gain but took out the mug. Even at $13 each, we are still saving lots of money if it is useful.

The latest that I have filled my mug was around 11pm.

The food courts will be closed at midnight. While the dispensers might still have drinks in them, you won't be able to access them. It would be far too easy for anyone to get whatever free drinks they would like.

Best bet would be to go down shortly before midnight and fill up then. Or, have some sort of bigger container that you could pour your mug contents into and then go back for more several times. Use the ice from the ice machines to cool down your drink.

DO NOT TAKE THE BIGGER CONTAINER TO THE FOOD COURT TO FILL UP WITH A DRINK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ditto! I saw this happening at the ASSp with any container possible...water bottles, old Disney cups, ice buckets. It was beyond tacky!

It depends on the specific Resort counter service location to know if you can get drinks in the mugs anytime you want. For example at Captin Cook's in the Polynesian the actual location is open 24 hours a day, so you could get a drink anytime you wanted. However at the Contemporary the Tempo Grab & Go closes at 11:00 PM, so after that you can not get a drink in your mug.

We stayed at POP & close to midnight the doors were already locked. We had no problems getting them around 11-11:30 though.
