Refillable mug questions

I couldn't find a thread on this so I'm hoping someone can help.

We are staying at BC, no dining plan so if we get mugs it will be OOP.

1- can I use the mugs at quick service or sit down restaurants at BC?
2- can I use them at the pool bar? (Obviously just for things allowed in the mug)
3- if yes to those, can I also use them at YC? Are the 2 resorts kind of considered one for the mugs?

In summary, where can I use them? Thanks!

We had the mugs last year at YC, as far as I remember the only places to refill them were at the Marketplace (in BC) and at the pool bar. I don't think there was a place actually within YC that had a refill station, or at least if there was we never found it. You definitely can't use them at TS restaurants.

We enjoyed getting the mugs free when we did the DP, but it's hard for me to justify the cost otherwise because it's usually more trouble than it's worth to cart them around to get refills.

The refillable mugs can be used at the self serve stations at any Disney resort so BC and YC will be fine.

At TS restaurants, I've never seen anyone using the RFID mug, but I guess you could bring in your own drink if they allow it, but you aren't going to get free refills.

I believe they are no longer restricted to a particular resort. So you should also be able to fill them at the boardwalk bakery should you be over that way. Also I thought that the bar in yacht club that serves breakfast also would fill them. But that was before rapid refill so that probably changed. We use them alot at the pool and marketplace
