If someone gave my name and bought 210 points at AKV what do I get?

If you live in a state that allows referral rewards, you will be eligible for a monetary award.

Check the member website for the Sharing the Magic program and it will give you all the details.

I recently bought 200 points at AKV and gave the name of some family friends - my guide said they'd be receiving a $200 visa gift card.

PA is an elligible state, my brother got a bonus when we bought. It takes a while though. Your refferal's contract has to go to closing first.

Also, are you sure your refferal gave your name and it was the first time they contacted DVD?

I had to call my guide when I had a referral. We purchased our contract under a CM discount so was not eligible, but we purchased our next 5 contracts without a CM discount so was eligible. The guide that put the paperwork in for the referral saw our main contract had a discount, so never processed it. Once my guide figured this out, she contacted the other guide and it got straightened out. It was $200 for the first referral.

First, it takes quite awhile for the referral info to show up in your account.


If you click on the Sharing the Magic info, even if there are no referrals listed, you can still click through to the FAQ section, or Terms&Conditions, or Rewards Descriptions.

Alas...the T&C is not coming up (she discovers as she goes through the process), so why not call to see if PA is eligible for a referral bonus?

thank you letter. Both I and buyer are PA residents and we were told PA is not an eligible state...so they said "thanks for the referral".

I have referred four 160-point contracts and won't receive anything, because I live in MN. Yes, I'm disappointed....but I'll still keep talking to friends about DVC. I should be a salesperson.....
