Referral reward?

Long story short - my DH's supervisor and his family (unknown to me) are HUGE Disney fans. They go every other year and have been for a long time. They stay at the Fort Wilderness cabins because

1. His wife likes to cook
2. Vehicle is right in front
3. Personal BBQ (remember Texans LOVE to BBQ...hee hee)
4. Relaxed environment

So, my DH's super mentions they are going to WDW and DH mentions the DVC. The super seems very interested. I gave him a 2008 point chart to give him an idea of what he is looking at, our guides name and number and I told him to mention our name. Now, we were not out looking for a referral reward, but is there such a thing?

DVD reserves the right to add or remove Eligible Jurisdictions as business and legal circumstances allow.

You may be eligible to receive a Reward when family or friends provide your name as a reference.

Your family or friends must purchase a real estate interest in a Disney Vacation Club Resort in order for you to receive a Reward.
Due to state regulations, Members who reside in certain states may not be able to select certain Reward Options.
Reward Levels are based on the number of referrals who complete a purchase within a calendar year. You may receive credit for up to a maximum of five (5) Rewards within a calendar year.
Level 1 = 1 referral = $200
Level 2 = 2 referrals = $350
Level 3 = 3 referrals = $500
Level 4 = 4 referrals = $750
Level 5 = 5 referrals = $1000

Rewards may only used toward your mtc fees, toward an add on or Disney gift card.

Well, at least it is obvious we did not do it for the reward . Actually, it is always good to look good to the supervisor/boss...that is what I told DH .

As far as a perfect fit for DVC, they have the love for Disney and regular visitations thing down. Plus they always book far in advance. We just have to hope they end up liking the accomodations and atmosphere just as much as the cabins. I do not know who wouldn't .

According to DH, his super, who BTW is a lieutenant with the local police department, loves Disney. The funny thing is his response to DH was "I love it there, I am very open about my addiction and am alright with it, although I do get harrassed a lot by my subordinates". Like he is coming out of the closet or something .

He, the super, is planning on retiring soon and is looking forward to working for Disney. That is his dream retirement job. OMG, when I heard that I about passed out. That is what I love...a man who knows what he loves and isn't afraid to admit it!! I asked DH if I could trade up.....

I know the feeling about being teased. I always get the "so when are you going to disney again and dont you get sick of that place"
My answers are always the same. Not soon enough and of course not
I guess some people just dont understand.
