I have had the issue of trying to return a movie to a redbox that is full, or even out of service. For those of you saying "just go to a different one" they aren't everywhere in all areas. I am in a rural-ish area, and the Redbox closest to me is about 7 miles north of home (but within my normal range of where I go regularly). The next closest one to me is 18 MILES west (there are two or three in that town) or 20 miles East (again, there are a couple there). So it's not always as simple as going around the corner to the other
Walmart or Walgreens.
When I have run into the out of service Redbox, I always call. usually they suggest going to another one, but when I have explained the distance issue to them, they have always credited me for a extra day or two without a problem. And it's a good thing, because I'm surely not driving 40 milesround trip over the mountain to save $1.20!
