Red Robin

the food is pretty good but the few i have been in are so noisy i really don't like to go...not just the normal kid friendly eating place noise either...like a constant din you can not talk to your companions over...i will say when i told my kids that they said i am just getting to be an old f**t, which could also be true:rotfl2:

i just read the other comments and would have to agree...a burger and fries for the two of us costs about the same as i can get a real "meal" someplace local so they are kind of expensive even though the food is ok...i've had better but also worse

This is one of our favorite places. My 17 DD LOVES this place. She says the cesaer salad is the best! I like their bonzai burger or chicken sandwich. I also like some of the salads.

Red Robin is very popular with the HS crowd since it is near the movie theater and they have unlimited fries.

Yummy!

It's my kids' favorite place to eat. I like their Ranch Chicken Burgers. They are pretty pricey for the type of food they serve, though. I can spend less and eat more at Olive Garden and Outback.

$36.00 for 2 adult burger platters and a kids meal.

Well above average cost for lower than average food. I can get burgers at Ruby Tuesday for about 3 bucks a piece cheaper and they are not as dry.

DO NOT GO TO THE LOCATION IN CANTON, OH. An employee sliced the end of their finger off in a salad and the salad was served. The health department shut that location down for several weeks to determine how someone could slice a finger off and the food involved still was delivered to the customer. It is now reopened.

When I took the girls there the other night I almost walked out. The A/C was set to arctic, I was trembling and turning blue. I had to ask three times for them to turn it down, I mean it was so strong that the palm tree in the corner was blowing like it was on a beach!:rotfl2: They finally turned it back, but only after I asked the manager to sit in my seat and see how bad it was!

:scared1: Yikes! How could someone let that happen? I used to live about 25 miles from that location. Thank goodness I never went there.

They are pricey and the food is ordinary. The menu seems to be missing something too.

I love Red Robin. I've tried many different things there and have never had a bad meal. I don't think they're too pricey, pretty much in line with the other chains in this area.

We love Red Robin! The bottomless steak fries, with the seasoning and Ranch dressing are awesome!! :thumbsup2

Just curious... pricer than what? McDonalds?

Around here Red Robin charges the same price for their burgers as other places like TGI Fridays. Compared to a place like that I actually find Red Robin cheaper.

It's entirely possible that other areas serve less for the same kind of full service/non-fast food burger and Red Robin has kept their higher Seattle prices.

And I'm still shocked they have spread this far. Not the kind of place I would think would be national chain material. They certianly don't have anything I would call uinique. I can still remember there only being three in this area. Now there are at least ten or more and we have been to most of them.

In our area they are pricier than other local similar burger joints. I'm choosing burgers since that is what Red Robin pushes as their speciality.

A standard cheeseburger at our Red Robin is $7.79 (with prices reaching $8.99 for speciality burgers), at a similar full service chain it is $5.99, whereas it is $4.15 at the best local joint in town.

For the price of an ok, burger meal at Red Robin and I can get a less 'diner' type meal at a more 'upscale' restaurant in the area.

I think their prices are high for the food they offer. Places like TGI Friday's and Chili's do not have prices on their online menu's which leads me to belive that prices vary by area.

Consider yourself lucky. Only fast food is that cheap around here. No way I can get a full service meal for less than $7 unless it's some kind of lunch special. In fact it's why we don't find WDW to be that pricy. We're kind of used to it.

On the downside, they serve meals in these TINY red plastic baskets lined with paper, which only enhances the mess. A platter would be better. There's no room for ketchup for the fries!

Ask for one of the red plastic cups they bring out dressing and such in. That is how we solve the ketchup issue.

Also, check and see if your local Red Robin does a free kids meal night. Ours is on Mondays and that makes it a much more reasonable choice for us. Otherwise, I have to agree that their prices are too high for what they are.

I like the food there, but I only eat there when I'm in So. California. The one in my town has the worst service and is over run with ill-mannered kids. It used to be a fun happy hour hang out 20 years ago, I guess all those ill-mannered happy hour people had kids. :rotfl:

I love Red Robin! I always get the burger in the petite version so that I can actually finish it off.

I love Red Robin. Ask for the fries to be crunchy and they came out to you hot and delicious. I also love their cheese sticks and freckled lemonade.

To me the price is worth it for a good hamburger and fries cooked to order. There aren't any other burgers within driving distance. Fuddruckers is just too far away for us to drive(45 or an hour depending on the direction) unless we are on the way to somewhere else!

Another vote for the whiskey river bbq burger!! My DD has chosen it as her birthday dinner for the past 2 yrs!

We used to the go the one at the Glendale Galleria on Fridays for two-hour lunches..... I love the Clucks and Fries. I haven't found chicken strips that I like better anywhere else.

I totally agree (although I get my fries without the seasoning)! And I should know since chicken fingers and fries is about the only thing I will eat when we go out (I am and extremely picky eater).

We love Red Robin! I always get the avocado and turkey crossaint - yum!!! The fries and drinks are really good too.
