Recommendations for when 180 + 10 isn't long enough.

Hey everyone,

My fiancée and I are getting married in Disney World next April. However, there's a slight challenge: we're arriving three days before the wedding, and our honeymoon doesn't officially begin until two days after the wedding. I have been to Disney World many, many times (a 20+ trip veteran!) but it will be her first time there. As a result, I want to make it very magical for her, and since she is a former professional chef I want to make sure we have the best food experience possible.

Here's the rub: we're staying on the property for the full 14 days of the trip, and 180 + 10 only reaches through the first five days of the honeymoon. I'd hate to cram all of the restaurants I want to get ADRs for into the first five days, but I'm also loathe for her to miss out on some of the potentially awesome dining experiences.

Does anyone have any advice on how best to manage my dilemma? Does anyone have much experience with booking ADRs for a stay of longer than 10 days, and want to offer some advice. Thanks in advance!

180 days before your arrival date you'll be able to make reservations for your arrival day plus the next 10 days of your trip. So for example, if you're arriving on April 1 your 180 date would be Oct 3. Make the reservations for April 1-11 on that day. The next day Oct 4 you can make reservations for Apr 12 because April 12 now falls into the +10 for your trip. You can continue day by day until the end of your trip.

That clears things up significantly. It was my impression, reading other posts, that the ten-day window from the start of your stay was a fixed window, not something that moved forward as each day passed. If what you're saying is correct, that makes things significantly better, as I'll be able to get in at 190 days for each day past the initial 10-day window.

Of course, that just means that for six days in October I'll be waking up at 3 AM (hooray, living on the West Coast!) and my fiancée already thinks I'm going insane planning his honeymoon, but I suspect it will be worth it in the end.
