Recommendations for romantic dinner?

Hi all,

ADRs were available to me on Friday, but it slipped my mind and now DH and I will not be having anniversary dinner at California Grille during fireworks- oops! :guilty: They had seatings before and after available, but during was sold out already.

Now I'm looking for other options for romance- view would be nice, but not required. We eat anything and love all kinds of food. Since it's our anniversary dinner, we're hoping to keep the screaming young kids to a minimum (although I do realize this is Disney and there will be kids everywhere). We don't need huge portions, as we'll be on the DDP and app + entree + dessert is a lot of food to us.

Is the Bistro in France a good choice? Kona Cafe sounds nice, but not quite "special" enough in the atmoshere department. I could be wrong, of course- I've never been there! Oh, DH isn't a huge fan of seafood, but if there is a steak on the menu he'll be fine.

What do y'all think?

Thanks in advance and happy travels!

Artist Point at WL is a good Choice. Or Jiko, Citricos, Narcoosees.

Ditto the above...be sure to let them know you're celebrating your anniversary! Check out the different menu's on Deb's website:

Still another ditto. Narcoosee's was pretty noisy, if I recall. Citrico's is blessedly quiet, and doesn't get the credit it deserves, being in the shadow of V&A. You'll feel like you've "been out."

Bistro de Paris might just be the quietest of the theme park restaurants. The two times I've been, once was exceptional; the 2nd time, the food was equally as good, but I felt like the servers were totally aloof.

If it's not too much earlier, why not take the ADR before the fireworks. Mention when you arrive that it is your anniversary and you would like to have a table in the lounge after your dinner to view the fireworks and share some after dinner drinks.
