reclassified cabins?

Someone in another post was talking about reclassified cabins. Can anyone tell me which ones they were? We they upgraded or down graded? Thanks!

Some reclassified cabins are 7120 and 7620, and 6634 and 6134. They were originally Cat 6, but were downgraded to a cat. 7 because of a partial metal obstruction. I think castawayclub.com shows pics of these rooms.

They are a great deal! We just rebooked on board and snagged 7120 which was a cat. 5 before it was reclasified, we only paid for a cat. 7 price though, I don't mind that small obstruction at all ! That is a savings of several konk coolers

I was just in 6634 for the last cruise. EXCELLENT deal, the obstruction didn't bother us at all!

Can 6634 sleep four? Or any of the others which were downgraded?

I am not sure, thre are only three of us in7120, a few years ago we were next door in 7118 and we were just three again.. maybe the far aft only hold three?

Thanks for saying that. We are going into 6634 at the end of this January on the Magic. We heard about them downgrading this room and got it. We also have secured this room for our future cruise on 12/5/04 (land/sea).

**Woops** after posting this I realized I was in 6134 which is the same thing but on the opposite side of the ship.

So Alex, what is that cabin like, I will be staying there with just DD11turning12! Is there enough room for loads of clothes and shoes!?!

Was the bed to the right or left when you walk in?

The bed is on the right as you walk in. The room is on the Starboard (right) side of the ship so you face the island when they back in to Castaway Cay.
The partial blockage doesn't seem to make much of a difference.

I was temporary comfused on our rooms. We got 6134 and you got 6634. Ha with both rooms we saved lots of $$$ .

We are talking two big suitcases with clothes probably one middel size one with shoes, I still don't believe that a woman can get away with only 3 pairs of shoes for one week!LOL And especially my DD! The look she gives me everytime I say "ONLY 3 PAIRS!" could kill both Tuke and Rutt!

I guess as long as the suitcases still fit under the bed we are safe!

Thanks for the info regarding CC, will definately have to be up bright and early to see us docking into CC!

Just to warn you... Our suitcases DID NOT fit under the bed! Well the garment bag and the smaller carry ons did but the large ones we nested inside of each other and kept up agains the wall next to the steamer trunk.
Minnnybear- we were on the "wrong" side for CC this past time but it was still beautiful! We could see the coral that surrounds the island and the waves breaking over them!

Ours wouldn't fit under the bed either but we managed to make room.
It all works out in the end, those that were on the "wrong" side of the ship to see CC had a much better view of the tree lighting ceremony!!

Alex, not sure what size our luggage is 'cause I have to store it until it's just before packing time or else the cat ends up sleeping in the luggage! It fit under the bed on the Wonder in a SPR but wasn't sure if the beds are the same or not.
