Got great rate at this resort over Labor day weekend through priceline. After reading reviews, may not be so great after all. Anyone that has recently stayed there have any info?

We stayed there May 2002. The room was smaller than what we expected, service was lacking. The decor was fine, beds very comfortable. We were not pleased with the discrepency in what we were told we were booking and what we received though, mostly size issues.

We stayed there for one night in June on a Priceline bid. Arrived late at night and left early the next morning. We were put in a building the farthest from the lobby as you could get. The surrounding buildings were very crowded and we had to park a LOOOOONG way from our building. Opened the door to the room and the scent was not the best. This is one of the first rooms I've ever stayed in that I didn't want to remove my shoes. Cleanliness was not the best. I found myself squinting at everything I looked at because I got tired of seeing the splattered dirt and grime built up from what looked like months or years of shoddy housekeeping. In my years of using Priceline, which I would guess have accounted for maybe 100 nites of room stays, this is the first time I have been dissatisfied. We ususlly use Priceline to get a better hotel, for the money, than what we are paying for. I didn't think this joint was worth the $35 we got it for.

We stayed here one night in January on a Priceline bid and were very pleased. Our room was the complete opposite from Bob's. It was very clean and even though it was a little smaller than I expected I felt I got a great deal.

I stayed there in April on a Priceline bid before checking into the Royal Pacific. I had no problems and had a beautiful room and wonderful service. We got it for $38 a night and it was great. I am amazed at the difference in reviews this hotel gets.

We stayed pre on site last year through Priceline. Got in very late and had the last building over the wooden bridge. We were upgraded to a two room suite on first floor and could walk out to pool. The room was clean, just not sparkling new clean. There are gardens in the center lobby outside the rooms and a mouse ran over my foot!!! It was in the foyer halls, not the room. For the price we paid it was nice enough and good Downtown Disney location.
