If we buy the package, is the Palos reservation just for two people? I know it is a Romanatic Package but we are travelling with about 8 other adults who would like to go. Will they make the reservation for 10? Thanks for the input.

The REAS package is just for the 2 reservations. However, if the other 4 couples also purchased the REAS, the famous Debbie could probably link the reservations (although I'm not sure if Palos has a table for 10).

Hey, how many threads do you think it will take till someone asks "What is REAS?".

Hi:
Palos has a separate room for big groups, so try to get early. When we had dinner last May the group on that room was big and they really had a great time.

I give it two days, tops....;)

We are 4 couples that have the RES package. So Debbie was able to link are reservations together for the 8 of us to sit together. We did not get the time we wanted because we are a big party for Palo. It was only 1 hour later. But we did get the day we wanted.

Does anyone else in your group have the RES package?

So what if someone asks what REAS is for - that's what this board is for!! I bet a lot of people don't know about the search feature (which btw is a really good search!) and if it takes a post like "what is REAS?" to help them out, then so be it.

I don't think the posters were trying to be snippy about this, just joking that everytime there is a thread about "REAS" someone usually asks what it is (and rightly so as often new visitors are reading and don't have any idea what some abbreviations mean, and asking what REAS means -- for those reading that don't know it's Romantic Escape at Sea -- and they do ask.)

The boards are here to help people. Keep in mind that the written word cannot be heard with the inflection in your tone of voice, so often it can be misconstrued. I am sure this was meant all in fun, not as being put out by someone asking a question.

I think you are right. I just re-read my post after a few hourse of posting and it my tone of "voice" comes off as snippy too, which is not how I meant it when writing. :earsgirl:

Is the package available on the four night? Or a scaled down version. It sounds great.

The same package is offered on both the 3 and 4 night cruises in addition to the 7 night cruises. The price is the same and includes the same components.

 I just asked on another thread, lol.

Edited to add: I found the answer...guess I should've looked a bit harder before asking, huh? ;)

We have 4 couples going, and 2 of us have the REAS. We were able to book Palo brunch for all 8 people with no problem. Debbie really is an angel!

Just a little fyi :). The REAS is available on 3, 4 and 7 night cruises. However if you are doing the land/sea package, it is not available. Instead there is a Romance Package, which gives you all of what REAS does, and good stuff on land as well, such as a dinner for 2 at one of the Signature restaurants in the world, a horse drawn carraige ride, and options to choose a spa treatment for 2, round of golf or Cirque tickets. Pretty good deal when you work it out!

REAS IS available on the 3 day land/ 4 day sea. That is what I had back in April/May.
Disney has been known to 'try' to prevent people from purchasing the REAS for that land/sea combo. They try to push the $599 romantic package. So you may have to fight to get it. But the 03 & 04 brochures clearly state that the REAS is available for the 3 day land 4 day sea.
I believe Disney will close that option for 05.
However, right now the REAS is a deal, especially with the increase in fees out of the Spa. They raised the couples massage from $189 to $242.
Personally, I don't believe the Romantic package is a good deal on the 3 day land, because it would really crowd your schedule. Its only worth it if you've been to the parks before, and you are actually traveling as a couple.
And to be truthful, I was being a little 'snippy', actually snippy/funny. I think the search tool on this board is excellent, and people would get better answers if they used it more.
