Good, I'm glad I live in this state. Whether or not I think paddling or spanking is OK, I think it's a thing that should be determined by a parent, not a teacher or principal.
We live in a state where it's legal but I have never heard of an incident of paddling.

What trend do you see?
We always felt sorry for the kid, not just because he was being paddled, but because everyone KNEW. My guess is, it's not still done that way. One would hope, anyway.
