It has been very interesting to watch this show with the personal experience that I have. I was so disgusted with her earlier in the season, when they were in Aspen and she had that breakdown. She was crying to Kim, "I grew up with nothing! We had nothing! I'm so afraid I'll wind up like that again!" I'm sorry??? She may not have been Beverly Hills rich, but she had a perfectly nice middle-class lifestyle. She and her mom had a nice home, she wore beautiful, trendy clothes, she was always getting her hair and nails done, she was a cheerleader for 4 years (not cheap!), and she got a beautiful, brand-new Toyota MR2 with her name airbrushed on the doors when she turned 16. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't consider that having "nothing". Maybe emotionally she felt poor, but materially, she was just fine. After that episode, one of our HS friends who had lived across the street from her posted on FB, "I never realized I grew up as poor trash until tonight! Thanks for letting me know, Shana!"
