Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

I think he was looking for Adrienne and waiting at the call box at the gate for someone to open the gate. Yeah, after all that went on inside the house, how could Taylor just stop all those emotions and move on to hey, check out my face doc.:confused3

.

That was the WEIRDEST thing about last night-how she was so weepy, emotional....then BAM "Doc check out my face":sad2:

Wow! Just watched the show, and it gave me serious flashbacks! It was classic Shana...the "I don't like myself, so I'm going to tear you down to make me feel better." girl. Except now, she's not dealing with sensitive 16 year olds, she's dealing with confident 40-50 somethings who are actually going to call her out when she behaves badly.

And about her face...she has always been thin with prominent cheekbones, but her face certainly wasn't as gaunt looking as it is now.

I always like your input regarding "Taylor" as you have first hand experience.

She really came off as somewhat unstable - a crying mess one minute and then somewhat of a bully the next. I wonder if she takes meds.

It has been very interesting to watch this show with the personal experience that I have. I was so disgusted with her earlier in the season, when they were in Aspen and she had that breakdown. She was crying to Kim, "I grew up with nothing! We had nothing! I'm so afraid I'll wind up like that again!" I'm sorry??? She may not have been Beverly Hills rich, but she had a perfectly nice middle-class lifestyle. She and her mom had a nice home, she wore beautiful, trendy clothes, she was always getting her hair and nails done, she was a cheerleader for 4 years (not cheap!), and she got a beautiful, brand-new Toyota MR2 with her name airbrushed on the doors when she turned 16. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't consider that having "nothing". Maybe emotionally she felt poor, but materially, she was just fine. After that episode, one of our HS friends who had lived across the street from her posted on FB, "I never realized I grew up as poor trash until tonight! Thanks for letting me know, Shana!"

I just thought that whole episode was weird. It seems like everything was just thrown together nothing flowed. I wonder if they just pieced it all together. It was weird that Adrenne husband was outside the gates and Taylor stopped to talk to him. I thought Lisa kept her cool. I don't think I would have been able to. While I feel sorry for Taylor, I am so over her "whoa is me" bit. I find it odd that they keep showing Russell in these episodes, when it doesn't add anything to the story line.

It was very weird seeing Russell in last night's episode....left a bad taste in my mouth. I really wish they would not show him at all. This whole season is just strange...kind of like knowing the ending of a book.

I couldn't believe the birthday party -- what is with Taylor and throwing ridiculous, over-the-top birthday parties? I guess it explains the financial troubles...she seems like she is all about appearances.

The wedding planner cracks me up...those invitations were RIDICULOUS! LOL! Just think of how much it would cost to MAIL all of them!

It makes me uncomfortable to watch the scenes with Russell in them. It's just kind of creapy. I thought he was creapy last year too. I am so sick of Taylor crying about how miserable she is and then act like everything is perfect in front of a big group. She is all about what other people think of her. I kind of puked a little last night when she and Russell were having pictures taken. I'm sure it was for their daughter but still.....!

I don't blame Camille for saying what she did. If anything, it should have been a wake up call to Taylor. I think she got so mad at Camille because she said it in front of Lisa and she is desperate to impress Lisa.

I wouldn't trust Kyle as far as I could throw her. Seems like she talks about everyone behind their backs!

I wonder if Pandora's wedding will take place on the show.

Ok so that wedding planner is beyond obnoxious, toooo pushy. But I thought it was funny that Lisa told him "its not your wedding this day is all about me". Umm no it's supposed to be about your DD and her fiance. :rolleyes1 And that birthday party was ridiculous. That little girl didn't look happy in any of the shots.

I think Lisa was kidding about that. It's her British, dry humor.

Off Topic: Is there a thread for Housewives of Atlanta? If not let me just say Cynthia's husband (forgot his name) has got to be one of the most unlikable people! He just seems like a mean nasty person. I don't know how she does it.

I thought Lisa was kidding but also letting him know she'll call the shots, not him. I agree about those invitations. Crazy!

The b-day party was, once again, over the top. What in the world were they both thinking? They both knew they are in a financial mess yet they plan Kennedypalooza? Plus Kennedy never enjoys these parties. I am sure it is just all too overwhelming to her.
And Ace...oh my. :/
But, she definitely flirted with him, lol, and he with her.

Seeing Russell didn't bother me (I guess I'm weird, lol) but I did find myself watching differently--looking for what makes someone end their own life.

And a HORSE! OMG That is one very expensive gift. I can't imagine what that plus the whole crazy event cost the 2 of them.

Yep, Taylor moves quickly.

All of the women have had manipulative, catty moments... but there is something about Taylor that is so genuinely unlikable. I can't quite put my finger on it.

Wow, that's pretty ballsy when she knows there will be people watching the show who knew her back when. She really is a piece of work.

I don't think there is a thread, but I agree that Peter is a royal ******.

Ace Young with drink in hand "working" the crowd just cracked me up for some odd reason...

I'm rewatching the episode right now (I always like to watch it again after I read posts on here so I can see what others have seen) and that wedding planner is so OBNOXIOUS!!!!!!!!!!! I have heard of him before and I heard that he is who Martin Short based his character on in Father of the Bride! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I don't blame Kim for not responding to Brandy at the birthday party. While I think Kim and Kyle acted like mean girls to Brandy, in my opinion it was so wrong for Brandy to accuse Kim of being a meth-head. (It was good to hear Kim admit to Paul what meds she was on and kind of explained a lot!)

ITA.....I couldn't believe it; things must be tough if he has to work the crowd at a five year old's birthday party!
