Carson was a sick pup. Cancel the party, get grandparents to take said daughter for a night of wonder at their house (where indeed she will be treated like a queen), get the boy into the doctor's and wait to find out what ails. You know how they get you right in to the examining room? And you think 'SCORE!, no waiting'? Well I got sucked in to that one today. There we sat, minute turned to ten to an hour. One hour and 20 minutes later we are joined by the doc who informs us strep! Rhonda!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just so you can get the image, Stitch was with Carson and me. You can imagine what sitting in that tiny room for all that time was like with 626. TG it is almost happy hour. Tink, are ya ready? Chap? Anyone else? I am getting ready for my gimlet. 12 more minutes.... :teeth:

Hay!

Sorry to hear this. That rots. I'll buy the first round. :teeth:

Hey ZZUB, CONGRATS on the victory! Winning the well-fought battle is the best.

(I'll never forget how I felt at my first jury verdict, or the first murder conviction, etc.)

Catch up later, taters, gotta run to the salon.

Thanks ZZUB, whew Frickles and LaLa.....

I am looking for things to sell on EBay so I can MAYBE join you in October. If Grammy can sell guano maybe I can sell old shoes. I hear people will buy anything.

They will Jamal but just make sure you mail it to them super fast, 'cause they are touchy about that- ebay buyers.

I need to get my self in gear and list some more stuff. Now I need to earn even more money because SWA thinks we should pay $350 each to fly to Orlando. Yikes.

Ebay total towards WDW trip- $800
Ebay money spend by Mr Silly on his coin fetish $440

If we have to drive to save money I will blame the coin here is the type, ours is not so well centered on the obverse. This coin was used in Athens at the time of Plato. Cool. Possibly it will mean 17 hours in a car (each way).

Victory is mine! Victory is mine! Great day in the morning, victory is mine. Bring me the finnest muffins and bagels (but no ham sandwiches) in all the land.

Succeeded in getting plaintiff's case dismissed with prejudice. I won't bore you with all of the details but after more than three years of work on this one file, I got it dismissed. My client is hugely happy and I am hugely relieved. The defense strategy was all mine so there would have been no cover if it went south. Gratefully, everything went well.

Until I came here.

I'd ask what happened here but, well . . .

Glad someone took the initiative to start a new thread.

I can't remember who (I think it may have been Chapter 11) who recommended we pick up Disney Sorry. I took my daughter out for a date Tues night and after dinner we went and picked up that game. She cleaned our clocks. Well, I reckon it helped that we were helping her. She's the new Sorry champion of the Zzub home. She reminded me last night that I was a "loooooser." Nice. I'll remember that when she wants a college education.

Mel: the partners have asked me to convey to you our appreciation for the muffin basket you sent over. We're all afraid to eat them of course, but thanks nevertheless.

Lala: the partners have asked me to convey to you our displeasure with the complete waste of post-it notes. Paper doesn't grow on trees, you know. ;)

TTRS :moped:

ZZUB! Boy am I glad to see you, Buddy!!! Whew. 'Cause I was about to start a hunger strike until you showed up. Actually... I ALREADY started my hunger strike. Right after I whipped you and your cronies and boyband members up that batch of muffins. Now I'm afraid to touch anything else in my kitchen that might have been in cross-contamination with the...errrr... spices I used. I think I might need some professional help here.

Anyway... I'm glad you're back... YOU WON!!!! (mad props)... and that you found us. All the way. Over here.

You, ZZUB, are the wind beneath my wings. (to quote, possibly, the worse song ever written) Either that... or someone here has gas. Or maybe Sheri is trying to contact me, too. Who knows??? Not I.

BTW... you can consider this WHOLE MESS to be YOUR fault... Mister. Yep. 'Cause guess what happened RIGHT AFTER you saw the poem "The Children's Hour", and said those awful things about my dear Mother and put me on ignore AND threatened to report my post to the mods???? Hum... can you? Can YOU GUESS?

Well... the ship sank. Yep. And Meatloaf sucked. And I wrote a horrible poem about cheese. All your fault.

So there.

Mad props to both you for your victory and your daughter for hers.

What are "mad props"?

Pssst... now that you're back... I wouldn't eat those muffins. If I were you.

TTRS :cheer2: back at ya. With FEELING!!!!!

Cheers, Mel.

Did I understand that it was SOMEONE's birthday?

Really?

Happy Birthday Horsey!!!!!!

This is so funny to me@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl2:

You guys are all so sweet! This happened last month when it was Carson's birthday. I got all these huge birthday greetings. Ya'll really are just the nicest people. My birthday is July 31, I am a Leo, if folks couldn't tell.....I think though, I am going to pretend it is October 2nd, cause I want to see what you all would do in person!!!!!!!!!

IT IS NOT MY BIRTHDAY, BUT THANK YOU SO MUCH ANYWAY! :rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao:

Chappie posted one line today. This is encouraging....he is succint, however, so that is sufficient.

Sher is buying a round, who else will join us? Jamal? Kimmie? Joey? Haley? Melly? NicoleMarie-y, AshClannie, Peride, Poohie and Hoopie, Bad Kitty< Frickie, Rhonday and Markie, M Gracie, Melonsy, Lalay, Louie Louie? Now look all those of you who aren't in this, I cannot do this okay? For those of you not included, consider my early onset dementia and do not feel hurt or slighted.

Uh, Amy, exactly how many times have you been convicted of murder anyway? No wonder they call you Bad Kitty. Memo to self: steer clear of WR.

HI GRAMMY!

Thanks for the shout out!

What is it with all of the strep?!?! We live all over the country, I can't imagine how these germs are travelling through the keyboards...but that's gotta be it. Horsey, hope Carson is better really soon, and that nobody else catches it!!

ZZUB, congrats on the victory. Must've been all those good viking vibes we were sending you. Hope no strep germs were mixed in with them, or you might be lookin at a tough weekend.

Pongoperdicutiebabypongo, we would NEVER forget you. Even if you're not posting a lot. So shout out to you, babygirl!

Master G, loved the Janet Jackson reference. And, Tink, (it was Tink, right?), I feel like I overuse the exclamation point too. It's tough to convey our happiness and enthusiasm otherwise, right?

I got home from work at 1:45 and I'm lovin that we have NO plans until tomorrow night. Plus my house was just cleaned (no, not by me) yesterday, so I don't even have to feel like I should be doing anything. Woo Hoo! Oooooh, did someone say dinner? I was hoping Tink could take care of that for us. She's always cookin anyway...........

Hi Minnie. Welcome back. We have new protocol and are self policing when necessary as sometimes there were wayward remarks. So we are hoping to survive this time. Some of us silly pirates just had too much rum punch me thinks. pirate: So anyone violating the rules of this ship will be walking the plank. Wait why is there no hat with horns smiley? Did the Norse have planks to walk? What would the viking equivalent be? :teeth:

I think, given the recent rash of STREP we need a little of this around here

I feel the need to self-police here: WHERE IS YOUR EDIT????!!!!!

Geez.

We are looking up to YOU here, Lady.

And this wasn't your first edit violation. BTW.

Bad Pony.

I think I can microwave some frozen corn dogs, or I always have hot dogs around the house.

Welcome back, Minnie. How did you puncture a lung at Disney? Yowzer. I hope you're ok now. That sounds scary.

Horsey, I think the Viking equivalent would be keelhauling. Maybe.
