Succeeded in getting plaintiff's case dismissed with prejudice. I won't bore you with all of the details but after more than three years of work on this one file, I got it dismissed. My client is hugely happy and I am hugely relieved. The defense strategy was all mine so there would have been no cover if it went south. Gratefully, everything went well.

I can't remember who (I think it may have been Chapter 11) who recommended we pick up Disney Sorry. I took my daughter out for a date Tues night and after dinner we went and picked up that game. She cleaned our clocks. Well, I reckon it helped that we were helping her. She's the new Sorry champion of the Zzub home. She reminded me last night that I was a "loooooser." Nice. I'll remember that when she wants a college education.

Mel: the partners have asked me to convey to you our appreciation for the muffin basket you sent over. We're all afraid to eat them of course, but thanks nevertheless.

Lala: the partners have asked me to convey to you our displeasure with the complete waste of post-it notes. Paper doesn't grow on trees, you know.

Woo hoooooooooo! I have booked my FREE flight to the F&W Fest. B&G. Whatever.

Is it weird that dh and I are taking not only separate flights, but separate airlines?

Moreover, is it mean that I booked him on United, which is a 6AM flight with a stop, that gets him to Disney by 2 PM? And that I'm on a 7 AM flight that will go straight there and I'll be sipping Shipwrecks (or whatever -- what do they have at the BW bar?) by 11 AM? Oh well, don't blame me. It's Master Gracie's fault. I'm pretty sure.

Hi all, apparently my name has been changed to someone.

So I had to slog through a million viking pages since lunch. Good. I feel better. Whilst I was scurrying to put finishing touches on Sky's magical evening, I got a call from the school. Carson was a sick pup. Cancel the party, get grandparents to take said daughter for a night of wonder at their house (where indeed she will be treated like a queen), get the boy into the doctor's and wait to find out what ails. You know how they get you right in to the examining room? And you think 'SCORE!, no waiting'? Well I got sucked in to that one today. There we sat, minute turned to ten to an hour. One hour and 20 minutes later we are joined by the doc who informs us strep! Rhonda!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just so you can get the image, Stitch was with Carson and me. You can imagine what sitting in that tiny room for all that time was like with 626. TG it is almost happy hour. Tink, are ya ready? Chap? Anyone else? I am getting ready for my gimlet. 12 more minutes....

Thanks for all the sweet thoughts for my lil darlin'. Apparently my goo encrusted neon yellow sprinkle with colored marshmallow teeth rotting cupcakes were a huge hit. So what if I won't see my kid for more than the 10 minutes I did this morning, when I brought said cakes to her class. She called me moments ago to say "Mom! Everyone agreed they were the bestest of the year!" Melt my heart? Yup. She does it everytime. Disney sorry, it has rescued me from Candyland, one of the many games I play in my sessions with my patients and one I rather like. And you two attorneys, we could have a sorry fest, as my little wonder is quite a fan of Disney Sorry too. Of course she always has to be Jesse and I never want to be Mr. Potatohead...........
