So I mentioned the Poly.

See, remember how I wanted to have pizza tonight with the beer? Well DH wants to grill...which I hate because it means me inside cooking the go alongs with the grill food of choice. Which I don't know yet. So I told him, "I'll have a good attitude about the grilling, if you'll consider something and let me know by tomorrow." He said,"How much is your 'something' going to cost us?" I said, "Us? Nothing. I will pay for it with my babysitting money." I told him what it was...I think he probably knew before I started. Then he said the dreaded, "well what are the numbers?" I said,"Do you really want to know? It just stresses you out." He said, "Yes" I told him...he said he'd think about it.

So that ball is in his court...and hopefully it will be yes! 4 nights at POR and 6 at the Poly is SO much better than 10 at POR. I told him so too, you know the rooms size and all and being cramped in there with the kids. HEHEHEHEHHE

Well, folks, just recently returned from a day of errand running. And apparently, we are now pork product magnets. Every store we went in had pork rinds in a prominent display area. And let me tell you what every single bag proclaimed on its front:

FRIED OUT PORK FAT WITH ATTACHED SKIN

My pork rind days are over. Not that I was ever really into them... but I will never eat them again. Ever. (We did stop by the Farmers Market and nab a bag of fresh hot boiled peanuts, though!)

And after Rhonda posted it became my turn to read through the musings of the day.

Nice everybody.

I am proud to say I'm a part of the Maelstrom. And that I have such neat friends.

I thought I might add to the yellowness and tell what I saw whilst in Amy's hometown earlier in the week, I happened to notice a sign I thought was interesting. Her hometown is a military town, and so there are patriotic things and signs and such everywhere.

One particular Florist wanted to get in the mood. The sign said, "Support our troops."

Then underneath it said, "All American Bokay $14.99"

I enjoyed that. And I hope they were kidding. Though I have my doubts.

I am just a proud mommy right now, my baby girl will not baby(6) but anyway just learned how to ride her bike on her own. She asked her father to help her and he said in a minute what turned into more and he comes running in saying come look. She took it on her own and did it.

Back to our regular scheduled program.

I feel ya, Dana-dana-bo-bana. I've been here since the first Maelstrom, and I'm still pretty much just on the fringes. But with this group, even the fringe is fun!

BTW, for some reason, I want to rhyme your name with even though its prolly Day-na.

I do a lot of this around here with a smattering of and quite a bit of . Of course, sometimes I and even feel a wee bit but I make it a point to never, ever under any circumstances and I only do this to make Mel growl.
