Shelby ~ I'm embarrassed to admit that I know nothing about making bean bags. If there's a pattern, I'm good. Beyond that, unless there is a pattern I can modify, I'm clueless. I suspect that there exists a pattern for beanbags, though.

Of course there are patterns, just take your pick ;)

Ash- There is no rule but I can't quite figure out my finance homework so I can't take a trip with that hanging over my head. Otherwise we would be on a plane headed to your party. Unless you know someone who could do my homework for me?

Evening All!!!!

Amy - Mad skillz!!! Great job and you ARE totally responsible for her cuteness(unless you ask your DH's side of the family)

Shelby - My 2 cents...... Bed and Bath and Target both have fabric covered bean bags right now. With removable covers. IKEA also usually has them. Back to school time is a great time to purchase them.
If you make them, Amy is right, you need to make an outside cover that is removable for washing

Best of Luck to all the mommy's sending off their babies tomorrow :grouphug:

:wave2: everybody else :dance3: :dance3:

Well, I would say Pongo, but I think she's kinda busy this week!! :teeth:

Kids are showered
Lunches are packed
Outfits are picked out
Camera has a full battery charge
Names on the backpacks (not anywhere visable when they are wearing them)

Did I forget anything?

(oh, and I broke up that fight, there is a new kid on the block rocking the boat)

Hey Everyone

I added Jami and Rhonda to the meet email. Did I miss anyone else? I can't tell from some of the email addy's, so PM if I missed you.

Amy, I don't remember what it was I said that made you laugh but good! And another great creation!

I have an idea. You know how they have books bout hidden Mickeys? Well my idea is "Blatant Mickeys". You know, like the Earful Tower etc. I think it is a great idea that will sell millions. So far I am only on page two.

Tomorrow I will find some small child and convince them to throw a fit until mommy and daddy get them their picture taken with Bambi. (I'm that relative that gives your kid a gift that has 3,000 pieces to it. And makes a lot of noise.)

Hey hey hey, people.
So much to say. So little that's important. ;)

I'm going to attempt to do some housekeeping.
Here. Not in my actual house.
That would be far too exahusting. And productive. Heh, heh.
So, please.
Do forgive if I've missed anything.

I'd like to be not evil, but.
A little wordly wise.
To be the kind of girl designed.
To be kissed.
Upon the eyes....

JAMI----Here's a recipe I'd thought you'd be interested in:

Squirrel Casserole

~ 5 - 6 squirrels
~ 1 bag egg noodles
~ 2 cups corn flakes
~ 1 stick butter, divided
~ 1 tsp garlic powder
~ 1 tsp onion powder
~ 1 cup flour
~ 2 cans chicken broth
~ 1 tsp thyme
~ 1 tsp salt
~ 1/2 tsp black pepper
~ 2 cups shredded mozarella cheese
~ 1/2 cup durkee/frenches fried onions

Boil the squirrels in a large pot until the meat starts to fall off the bones. Remove and cool. When cool debone. Set aside.
While the squirrels are cooking, cook the noodles per package directions. Drain and set aside.
In a saucepan, melt 1/4 stick of butter. Stir in the cornflakes, garlic powder and onion powder. Heat until crispy.
Spread the cornflakes in the bottom of a greased casserole dish.
In a saucepan, melt the remaining butter. Add the flour and brown just a little. Add the chicken broth and stir until thick.
Remove from heat and add the thyme, salt, pepper, squirrel meat and noodles. Mix well.
Pour the mixture evenly over the cornflakes. Top with the cheese and the fried onions.
Bake for 45 minutes at 300 degrees.
Serve and enjoy.

SHELBY-----Yer TV Room rocks. Truly.

To everyone else. Hi. Hey there. Hello. LY/MI.

That was exhausting.
I need a tasty adult beverage. After that.
However.
I'm now off. To work.
Or something like it.
But not before I offer up yer Sunday treat.
If it's redundant (read: you've been there, done that), do forgive.
Otherwise, ENJOY.

All hail Jack Black.

Mind the gap, all.

xx, Sid

My favorite little musical, The Fantasticks, though that song isn't as cute as:
Why do our kids put beans in there ears?
No one can hear with beans in their ears!
After awhile the reason appears,
They did it 'cause we said "no."
:music:
