Okay, peeps, listen up. I have news.

As you know, (or maybe not), my boss from New Orleans was in town today to meet with the new Regional Vice President for our region. As of July 1st I will be transferred over to this region and cease to be a corporate employee. I will get a new office in 2 weeks or so. A third person will also be hired, so a supervisor position will be open. I am one of 2 being considered for this position!!!!!

There was a big meeting about it today so I will be monitored closely for the next 2 months or so. Some not so nice things were said about my competition (who has no idea about the new position, BTW) by the Medical Directors of our region. My boss came to my office and then to my home to coach me on how to behave during the monitoring "season".

Even though he is a pain in my hiney sometimes, I really appreciate him for this. He thinks I will excel at this new position and is gunning for me to get it. All I have to do is keep my mouth under control (as well as my temper) and kiss butt.

It's a 5K a year raise. Plus, I will be adding marketing to my skills.

Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers and help me to stay calm and POSITIVE in the next few weeks!

If I get this, I'll cook all of you a nice dinner of your choice if and when you happen to pass through this part of town, okay?

Sorry this was so long. I'm just so excited and I want this so badly.

Thanks for reading. I have to go see what's in the fridge now. I'm cooking leftovers for dinner tonight.
