Well, that's just great. Ed goes to the Carribean and I get the Mother in Law. :sad2:

At least you don't have 3. Yep, 3. Count 'em. 1, 2, 3. Thankfully, 2 of them live in Ga. and the one here only comes around for holidays and birthdays. :cool1:

It is Friday, right? (Finally!!)

This week has been totally, ridiculously busy. We have one more day of school (Monday) to make up for a day we lost due to flooding. It's only a half day, but they were smart. The students HAVE to be there to get their report cards. (That's how we know who next year's teacher is!!!)

(Proud moment ahead, be warned!) My middle DD is a gymnast. The instructor informed us that she would like DD to start training 9 hours a week. Which is great news, DD has been working very hard, as this has become her goal...to be a competitive gymnast. But, now she has to quit her other sports. She also plays soccer and ice hockey. In fact, we got this news yesterday at the end of very intense private lesson with her coach. Riding from that high, we went directly to the hockey rink where DD had to tell that coach that last night would be, well, her last night. She went on to score 3 goals!!!! (DS scored one too!) Did I mention she is only 6?????

So anyway, I am sitting here, trying to re-arrange my "perfect" summer schedule that has now been made UN-perfect. I hope I can check out the great news later on tonite...but if anyone wants to PM it to me I wouldn't NOT read it....(hint, hint, wink, wink).

TTFN!!

2IB - that is great about your daugther, mine is 6 too and they wanted her to go to six hours but I said no. We are only doing it for fun. She is going into grade one and we don't know how she will handle the homework part. They really want my daughter to do this and have been calling and they said if we still want to we can in the fall. It amazes me how kids can be so flexable. When they do the splits I think that must hard. But she does her stuff at home all the time front rolls even though there isn't enough room.

Tink that was pretty funny, I am going to have to read our bulletins more closely next time.

But I have to tell you that was AWFUL.

AWFUL... yet funny.

Funny 'cause I hate fish.

AWFUL 'cause I love Nemo.

Alrighty... I have a picture for you... from Typhoon Lagoon. I was gonna put it in my trippie but I'll do it here.

Gotta go find it.

A white bikini features prominently, though.

Heh heh.

Cheers, Mel.

SHOUT OUT TO ALL!!!!

Does anyone have a way for me to:
A.) add more hours to the day (which is really not a great idea)

or

B.) split myself (painlessley) in thirds?

Hey folks - I'm not trying to be secretive or in the know. Lots of people know what its about cause they were at the spice room or whatever it is last night. I just figure I'll let Tlinden (Karen) post th results on the TR. EVeryone in chat was already pleased and I think everyone else will be as well!

BLessings!

Howdy and Bye, folks. I'm off to be with the inlaws for a weekend of forced family fun. Y'all behave (NOT) while I'm gone!
Mark, you're in charge, buddy.

Oh, and you're WELCOME for the funny I dedicated to you MUCH EARLIER. Sheesh. It wasn't like it was in Cajun or nuttin, cher.

I moved up from a La La (silent shake laugh) to a full lol when I saw Georgiakitty with the gun. Baaad kitty, I am glad you are out there fighting for justice! Maybe that is Catwoman as a baby?

Ahhh. It's that danged "loop" I'm not allowed in. :guilty:

Where's my Horsey? She always kept me abreast of the situation because I can't chat. :teeth:

A man married 25 years, took a look at his wife one day and said, "Honey, 25 years ago, we had a cheap apartment, a cheap car, slept on a sofa bed and watched a 10 inch black and white TV, but I got to sleep every night with a hot 25 year old blond.

Now, we have a nice house, nice car, big bed and plasma screen TV, but I'm sleeping with a 50 year old woman. It seems to me that you are not holding up your side of things."

The wife is a very reasonable woman. She tells the husband to go out and find a hot 25 year old blond, and she would make sure that he would once again be living in a cheap apartment, driving a cheap car, sleeping on a sofa bed....

What about The Incredible Mr. Limpet??????Hmmmmm??? Since we were discussing sushi earlier

Sorry I was busy yelling at my kids. They are driving me crazy today. My son decides to leave his garbage on the floor and go outside only to leave the garage door open and the inside house door open. I love to air condition outside too. There is other stuff but let's just say we are having a bad day.

We are going to Wonderland tomorrow so I am trying to stop myself from grounding him for the weekend. I can't threaten something that I know we will do anyway because we paid for the tickets. I believe he will see bed early. He is nine so he won't like that.
