We’ve been in WDW since Tuesday so I haven’t been keeping up with the latest. We have a group of 14 and yesterday was our first HS day. We got in to the park at 730 almost exactly. Took a few min to organize ourselves and we headed to SDD. They had us line up for TS land and I had us hang to the right knowing where SDD is so we were essentially in that line already. Got off that ride around 9 for context. The MMRR line was insane looking btw.

I had 4 of us booking BGs on my account. 3 Verizon iPhones (11 pro, 8, 7S) and a sprint Samsung. I got in first with the iPhone 11 Pro and only 3 of us were listed and I got BG 13 thanks to all the tips here. My wife on an iPhone 8 under my MDE account got everyone else just after me for BG 60. So it seems that it took a bit longer for everyone to be listed.

BG 13 was called while we were in line for SDD and we were only given an hour. We barely made it to SWGE by the end of our hour. We found the GET and they fixed the issue and put us all in BG 31 since it was the next BG to be called.

We explored Batuu for a bit and then were called to ride. AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!!!

I’m a huge SW fan amongst a mix of big fans and casual fans. We ALL loved it!

We’re trying again on Tuesday with 9 of us who will still be here. I’ll report back next week.

Omg so crowded but got BG 7!!! Riding this and getting straight out of here

again, I seriously believe if I haven’t been reading all these tips and reports the last 2 weeks I would not of had success the 2 tries this week with BG 17 and 7. So thank you all!!!!

Practiced this morning, clicked at 7:00:03 (central time) got red button right away but for the first time in all my practices everyone else was missing from my friends and family list and it only showed me. Force closed app and when I reopened everyone else was there again but it was already in backup groups.

Anyone there today know how rope drop of MFSR was today? Now that MMRR is open I am curious if it is better

we plan to RD MFSR Tuesday so bumping!

-Bus came at 6:46a
-Through bag check at 6:57a
-Tapped in at 7:16a
-Got in line for MMRR
-Opened app at exactly 8am; it glitched and only showed my husband as party members and he isn’t even on this trip.
-Had to reset app, correct party members showed up; got backup BG 94 (last regular BG is 63)

My sister is there now. Just got boarding group 22 this morning. They're in line for Mickey and Minnie and it looks like it's a 2-hour long line. How long are the return Windows when the boarding groups are called today? Should they stick out the wait for Mickey and Minnie or do you think it's going to eat into their return time for rise?

Some early BGs get a one hour return time, but reports are that CMs at the ride will allow two hours regardless. There has been a degree of flexibility in place based on reports.

Definitely going tomorrow, I'm gonna be live streaming, I use my phone for that but my daughter is coming so she'll be able to get us into a bg , I'm going to be showing the various rope drop crowds

They are prepared to leave the line for MMRR if necessary. Rise is the goal today!

Sorry, but it had trouble keeping up. I know what the red line on The Chart is on February 4th. But what is that red line indicating on March 1st?

I had the opposite thing happen two days in a row now. Everyone showed up EXCEPT me until I closed and re-opened the app (into backups by then). I've been experimenting with having the app already open before 8am but waiting to hit "find out more" until about 2-3 seconds after 8.

Tomorrow I'm going to go back to starting the app a few seconds before 8am to try and time it so that BGs are already active when the app opens. I had fewer issues using that method. Every time I try with the app already open, I've been missing from the list.

I got a fun new glitch this morning. On the Not So Fast page that shows you who isn’t in the park only 3 of us showed up as not in the park. My DH and DS were listed as ready to go. I waited for a minute so that if it went through it would be a backup BG and then continued. It gave me a red error box so it did not go through. But I haven’t seen that before.

I was wondering if DH and DS snuck off to FL overnight.

How did it go getting a BG got your party if 12? Guessing as long as you arrived early you rode at some point? Looking forward to hearing how it went for you.

Thanks for asking! Well, a comedy of errors! It was a youth group driving up from Tampa and they hit traffic. Got to park, bag line long, some needed to add hopper, etc. Long Story short, various groups of the twelve were trickling through the gate from 8:01 to 8:08. I was helping from home. Able to get groups 111, 113, 115, and 118 for them all, and since they were doing so well with boarding groups, they all road around 4pm. They had an awesome day!

Park closing moved to 8:30pm, so 12.5 hour park days vs the prior 12 hour park days (with one date since 3/1 being an exception).

Talk to me about force closing.

I’m on iPhone 7. When I start the app after a long time being closed, it takes at least 20 seconds to go through the fireworks.

When I’ve opened the app recently and use the home button to close, the app opens quickly right back to where I was. It does not go through fireworks.

This means that if something is glitching, it usually takes me back to the glitch. This morning it was spinning and spinning when trying to find my friends list, and going out and coming back took me to the same place, not back to the app opening screen.

So how do I “hard” close it?

It was glitchy today when I was giving DH a tutorial so he can try remotely when I’m in the park. Later, I was going for more practice around 8:15, and the app was completely frozen. Did not fully load and could not access any functions, not just BGs. I even powered down my whole phone and restarted it, and the app was still frozen.

I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and it’s working again. Obviously I won’t be able to do this while at DHS and still get a good BG.

Advice from a tech savvy Dis-er?
