We have one phone on At&t and one on verizon, this morning at least at&t is seeming faster. In line for TSL, other day we lined up for SWGE. Seems much busier today then our day midweek, we arrived earlier but still quite a ways back, as expected. We stopped on the corner by Mike and sully meet.

AT&T is the official provider but it definitely struggles sometimes too. It’s been working well for me. I’m nervous for 7, haha. Shirt two day trip just for RotR...the app better work. It’s not *too* busy over on sunset blvd.

Edit: button was red at 7am but has to restart app to get my whole list to load.

BG24! It wouldn’t let me add my husband. So he got 88. We already went to a blue shirt and we’re both in 24.

For me, the estimated wait says “backup group” and the message about distribution being complete is there, but I don’t get the pop up that has usually appeared saying that you are joining a backup group.

This is ridiculous.. I was there last week and ended up with BG133- the last official group of that day. This really is just a fancy name for a lottery system. You show up an hour and a half before a park opens and you are still not guaranteed to ride- no matter how long you are willing to wait. Smh.

I was seeing that same issue from home. My wife and kids didn’t show. One other person is reporting the issue too in the thread. Always a curveball I guess!

Right I just did it separately. Guest experience team fixed it quickly.

Before we go 20 rounds through this whole subject again, i would like for this thread to stay as focused on bg and how to join. This argument had come up at least 30 times
They shortened the number of "guaranteed" bg to not deal with extra guest recovery. Additionally Disney does not guarantee you'll ride anything when you come to the parks

Ha ha. I’m not in the park but just went through the exercise when I saw the post about going to backups almost immediately. I was wondering if the screen with the estimated wait might have been wrong, but apparently people really were getting backups within a minute.

Same. I’m shocked that RnR is 60 minutes and ToT is 50 already. I thought I’d get to ride both before 8. Ha busy day?!

I think it's just a little disheartening that they're running out of main BG's in a minute or less, especially when they were lasting longer during busier times
