Is there an area in HS where the GET lineup may be shorter than other GET lines? Is there an area to avoid?

I’ve heard the one by RnR is less crowded.

Agreed with top 2. We went to entrance of TSL. Were thinking of RDing SDD, but since we got 8, just went to TSM. We got called while on ride.

One thing I noticed is they cut back the number of CMs checking people into the ride. There was a long line to get through the entrance. But after that we didn't stop moving through the queue until the experience started

Not yet. It will need to become more reliable first. It's still going down too much for timed entrances.

I'm going in June! So excited! I waited until summer because I thought they might be able to work out the kinks by then and maybe we won't have to do BG. I'm super worried about getting one in time. We are staying at PC but from reading here, I need to be at the bus stop by 6:45 am. I'm hoping that won't be the case in June but you never know!

Two years ago we were at Universal when the clock changed in the other direction. Saturday morning we arrived in the dark with almost no one there. Saw the Dragon breathing fire at Gringotts on an almost empty street. It was amazing.
Sunday morning at the same time (only not because daylight savings ended), the sun was up, the bus was packed, and we entered for the extra early hour with a lot of extra resort guests.

If you’re all linked in mde, you select everyone that has scanned into the park with you, then move forward. Everyone gets the same BG.

also, it’ll be really good for you to read post 1 for more faq’s as well as practice a few mornings to get an idea of what to do when you get there.

That’s not how it works. All of you select the whole party. Whoever gets through first will have secured the same BG for the whole group. You don’t get to see which BG you’d be in before you submit. Unlike FP, there is no choice. Once one of you gets through, the others won’t because they’re already in a group.
Tomorrow at 8 am, try it. You won’t get through the whole process because you won’t have tapped into the park so you can’t get an actual BG, but you can see how it works.

It's whoever gets a BG first; you can't get multiple BGs for the same group of people. Once someone gets a BG for your group, the other members of the group can no longer get a BG, and will get an error if they try.

Thank you! I thought I had read a few pages back that someone said they had gotten 2 different BG times, and I wondered how it worked. I was thinking that if I got through I would grab it and worry later. I've been practicing and actually got through 3 times before it went into backup group, though that's on home wifi with nothing to lose. I've been timing the guaranteed bg vs the backup, and seeing how I fare, and how long I have until it goes to backup. August is a long way away and they may have changed the whole procedure by then, but if I go and fail to get a bg it won't be because I failed to put some work into it. I get up almost every morning and try.
I did reread page 1, but it didn't get into the results of multiple people from the same group trying.Thank you all so much!
