My DD will be 8 on our next trip this upcoming August. She was recently diagnosed with hereditary systolic hypertension... basically, the top # is elevated and has been for over a year on her BP readings. Her nephrologist has now ordered a fairly strict low-sodium diet to hopefully get it down before prescribing medication. I don't want to put her on BP meds at her age (I'm on them :( and have been for 7 yrs). We eat quite healthy as it is and she is a tall stringbean who is fairly active. We have a MYW pkg booked w/ the DDP and I know that you can contact a dietician @ Disney who will help with gluten free/diabetic diets... but do they do low-sodium as well?:confused3

I don't know about that, but I am curious. My dad is on a low sodium diet and one trick he does is bring his own lower sodium salad dressing with him to restaurants.

I would suggest going over to the disABILITES Forum and check out the "disABILITIES FAQs". Page 3 has many useful links, including a whole section on dietary restrictions. You can get directly there by clicking on the link in my signature.
