Rash Guards and slides at the water parks?

I know you can wear the usual loose swim shirts in the pools at the water parks, but I was wondering if a proper tight fitting men's rash guard can be worn on the slides?

I always find water slides give me a bit of a "rope burn" on my back and was hoping to avoid that. I know regular t-shirts and swim shirts can't be worn on the speed slides for safety, but I imagine proper rash guards can't pull up and strangle you, so perhaps they're allowed? If not, I imagine you can hold your shirt while you slide down?

So tired of being jelly of the women who get to wear one-piece suits... And tired of being sore after a day at a water park.

I believe so. However, my DFI wore a tank top on every ride and was never asked to take it off on any slide.

I always wear tight fitting rash guards to the water parks simply for sun protection.

I like a tank top or something on me over my bathing suit when I swim too and have never been asked to take it off. I think if it is long or loose and a risk of snagging on things it may be a problem but something designed to be work in the water or that fits properly shouldn't cause any difficulties.

DH wore a rashguard to Blizzard Beach last year and had no problems going on slides. It was snug. I can't see a man or woman's rashguard being any different than a woman's bathing suit top, it just has sleeves.
