I saw someone mention something called a Rash Guard to wear at the parks after water rides. I am assuming this prevents that icky rash you get from your wet shorts on your inner thighs. Does anyone know where I can purchase some of these?

Just GOOGLE for Rash Guard and you'll see lots of items.

We call it chub rub cream! Astroglide makes a new lotion that is for just that purpose. I cracked up when I saw the commercial because I wish it was invented years ago! I haven't tried either one yet but I wonder how they work.

A rash guard is a shirt that is made out of some kind of material (like nylon/lycra or something like that) that is designed to get wet. They are used for water sports, especially surfing.

Body Glide works great and I ordered it online.

Also, I have seen it in sporting goods stores recently, I guess now that it is spring and people are running outside more.

I'll second Bodyglide, it works great, it's not greasy and a must-have for summers in theme parks.I haven't seen it in big sporting goods stores like Sports Authority, but find yourself a runner's store and they should have it!!

This poster is correct. "Rash guard" specifically refers to garments, not creams. The fabric and weave of the rash guard prevents chafing and other types of skin breakdown. I live at the beach, trust me on this one.
