Rash guard shirts in big sizes

I wish i knew how to make these. My dh is 4XLT and if I found one that fit him I would have to mortgage the house to pay for it.

I got DS a couple recently from Lands End, on sale. I got him size Large, and they seem to run a little big. I liked that they had the ones with a small zipper at the neck, sometimes the necks are so tight. And the zipper is sort of covered for fabric at the top, so it does not rub against your neck, or you could leave it down or partially down too.

I, too, have been looking, for rash guards. I know about Lands End, but would prefer to buy off the rack if possible. Has anyone found rash guards for girls/ladies? They were so popular in stores last year, but this year- nothing.
I was able to find little boy sizes at Kohls. What do the girls do? Wear the boy ones?
If anyone spots some, can you post, please?
And, I will keep watch for 4X sizes, too!

Some Sears stores have a Land's End section in them. Ours does and it has quite a few different types of girl's rashguards. Our local Target has a few different girls' rashguards too. We're in the North so they are discounting them right now, but they are there.

What's wrong with his old rashguard shirt? Rashguards are supposed to be snug, because if they're too big they float around in the water. When people complain of them being too tight, it's usually because they expect them to fit like a T-shirt.

I think she just means it is time for a new one, not necessarily a different sized one. My boys both wear these and after a long summer of swimming in the chlorine, the elasticity of the rashguards starts to breakdown.

My hubby wears light weight poly t-shirts in the water. They look really nice, dry fast and keep him from getting sunburned. For those on a budget, we buy them at Forman Mills for a few dollars a piece. They had sizes up to 5xl.
